We are looking for candidates to work as a Machine Operator In Training with the Nice-Pak Products manufacturing plant in Mooresville, IN. The positions will work on the D night shift schedule from 6pm-6am on a 2-2-3 work week.
Essential Function:
This position is responsible for the overall safety, productivity, and quality of the product. Certified machine operators are responsible for the changing of raw materials on the machines, while producing a quality product. Other requirements include proper completion of paperwork including DIRs, downtime logs and equipment setup sheets.
Scope:
This position interacts with individuals within the production, compounding, warehouse, quality, and maintenance departments.

Responsibilities:
1. Follow required Safety procedures
2. Document and communicate both oral & written
3. Performs required changeovers
4. Perform quality inspections as described in the work instructions
5. Record equipment downtime
6. Call in work orders as needed
7. Troubleshooting equipment and making minor adjustments to the equipment.
8. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Supervisor
9. Ability to understand various written materials such as SOPs and cGMPs
10. All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Equivalent Education Level Requirements: High School Diploma
Knowledge Required:
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Mechanical aptitude
Must pass required testing
Stable work history
Good safety record
Previous Machine operating experience in manufacturing preferred
Previous experience working with SOPs and cGMP guidelines preferred.
Able to understand and perform job duties using statistical process controls.
Have and maintain good attendance record.
