REPORTS TO: Manager Materials SUPERVISES: N/A CONTACTS: The Material Planner interfaces with all levels within the internal organization, as well as external suppliers. Information exchanged can be technical, confidential data. PRIMARY PURPOSE: Material and Production planning DUTIES &
Responsibilities: 1. Planning of materials and scheduling of manufacturing areas to meet customer expectation. 2. Coordinate with suppliers to achieve and support OTD goals. 3. Perform daily clerical activities to support Materials Team. 4. Interact with Logistics to support business needs. 5. Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S;) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures. 6. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. SCOPE: The Material Planner is responsible for planning materials, scheduling production areas and meeting customer's expectation. Planner has a direct impact on the success of achieving our OTD goals. Direct supervision and moderate follow-up is required. WORK
Experience: REQUIRED:
1-2 years Material and Production Planning PREFERRED:
1-2 years Planning in SAP SKILLS & ABILITIES: REQUIRED:
Experience using MRP System, Microsoft Office programs. Attention to details and accuracy a must. PREFERRED:
Experience using SAP, Microsoft and related Business Warehouse Reporting.
